We’d like to start by thanking everyone who made it out to our last pop up event in The Divine Lorraine Hotel lobby. Because of the publics massively positive response and participation for the 1st pop-up, Eric Blumenfeld and the City of Philadelphia have given us the opportunity to have one last event at the Divine in its raw state as construction pushes forward towards completion. On May 11th from 3:30 – 8:00pm we will be opening the doors once again for the release of our new “Divine Lorraine Hotel Collection”. All new Divine Lorraine merchandise and housewares along with some staple pieces from the last collection will be available. Patrons will have access to the lobby of the Divine as well as our “gift shop” pop up area. This event is totally free and open to the public, and will be firstcome first served. To accommodate the large crowd we anticipate based on last years turnout we have been allowed to double the occupancy inside to alleviate the wait in line.
10% of all proceeds will be donated directly to Big Brothers Big Sisters SEPA. Free commemorative Divine Lorraine key chains with any donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters will also be available while supplies last
As an added bonus we’ve worked out an agreement with the Divine Lorraine’s leasing department. For those of you potentially interested in living in the building, they will be taking applications on the spot to reserve an early VIP viewing of the apartments that will be available. *Application fee is $50*
As always we appreciate everyone’s support and help in spreading the word and look forward to another amazing day with all of you in one of Philadelphia’s most historically rich landmarks.
Stay tuned for more information and sneak peeks at the new merch we are releasing
This event will be wheelchair accessible.

In Chinese culture, lanterns are often a symbol of family – of a coming together to illuminate the darkness and create togetherness. Asian Arts Initiative has literally lit up the dark alley of Pearl Street and worked to create family and community through the arts. Now, we invite you to continue to transform Pearl Street with us and to celebrate this spirit of hope and togetherness, as part of our valued circle of supporters and family.
Our annual benefit is a fun-filled night that includes an multi-course dinner, performances by artists affiliated with our programs, raffle prizes, and an exciting silent auction!
A VIP cocktail hour sponsored by BRICK AND MORTAR will be hosted prior to the event, with music by the Philippine Folk Arts Society, Inc. Ticket options for this event is available during checkout.
Doors open at 6PM, with a seated dinner by JPM Catering and Eventsprepared by 6:30PM. A brief program will be held, and the dance floor will open up, with performances by Mark Wong with Hip Hop Fundamentals and Bi Jean Ngo with @Philadelphia Asian Performing Artists (PAPA). Our music for the night is provided by DJ Kevin Kong!
Sponsored by PECO.
