Eraserhood Forever 2016 Art Opening
PhilaMOCA is hosting the fifth annual installment of the critically-acclaimed ERASERHOOD FOREVER exhibit – an artistic celebration of the work of David Lynch. From paintings of your favorite TWIN PEAKS characters to paper mache’d nitrous tanks to moody pieces that capture the feel of one of his films, we’re looking for anything that celebrates the filmography of one of America’s greatest living filmmakers.
The opening reception will be held on Wednesday, October 5 from 6-9 PM. The exhibit will close on Halloween. Work will be up on the walls for the SOLD OUT – Eraserhood Forever 2016 ft. Xiu Xiu performing TWIN PEAKS event on October 1. Having work in the show does not grant you admission to that event.

When David Lynch moved to Philadelphia in the late 1960s to attend PAFA, he discovered a city that was both terrifying and inspiring. Explore the neighborhood just blocks away from PAFA that so electrified Lynch’s imagination with two guides: Hidden City’s Peter Woodall and Lynch–and Eraserhood–aficionado, Bob Bruhin. During this one-and-a-half hour walking tour, we’ll delve into the area’s industrial history, as well as the sights and sounds that inspired Lynch’s movies, particularly Eraserhead.
