At a cruelty factor of 10/10, every single one of those amazing balconies is now “decorative.” The 124 year old railings are no longer up to code, and the exterior details are not allowed to be altered. Although I’m certain there would be a workaround, and that this has everything to do with insurance. Nonetheless, can you imagine having to look at those expansive balconies every day with absolutely no way to access them? That’s just sadistic, #ericblumenfeld .
